FIller

I feel like there are a lot of good pieces coming up...let's hope so.
This is something I painted in my sketchbook. Very tiny. Maybe the size of your thumb. Maybe not though. This isn't on moleskin. It's recycled paper. So there.

This baby's not too pretty, but she has loads of potential.

Mankind is Kept Alive by Bestial Acts

I guess I've come to the conclusion that some pieces don't have to be cathartic in any way. This is Chuck Norris ravaging an alien. No more. No less. And that's just fine. Class assignment.

Old Miller

There was no time to work on this, but I've come to a stopping point. I want to push it further (toward my original intentions) in the future. This oil painting has a train ride in the morning. By the way this is an illustration for a traditional folk song called "Two Sisters". This is the moment where the old miller is bribed to push the drowned sister back in the water. Very dark song.

Fish in the Jailhouse

"Peoria Johnson told Dudlow Joe
I can break out of any old jail, you know
The bars are iron, the walls are stone
All I need me is an old fish bone

They're serving fish in the jailhouse tonight"
