Old Miller

There was no time to work on this, but I've come to a stopping point. I want to push it further (toward my original intentions) in the future. This oil painting has a train ride in the morning. By the way this is an illustration for a traditional folk song called "Two Sisters". This is the moment where the old miller is bribed to push the drowned sister back in the water. Very dark song.

Oil Painting Again

It seems everyone else has gone digital temporarily. So I'll circle back to my oils. My coattails are frayed.

Critical

I'm back and working on the first illustration for the fall. I have one day to finish the line drawing, and it's a nostalgic kind of feeling to work such long hours for one piece again.
